Chef Diane Sturla of Relish Kitchen has prepared a seasonal menu for this evening's dinner. The 5-course menu will include a selection of the chef’s signature dishes like a spicy melon soup with salt cured diver scallop, a lemon cucumber salad with black garlic and basil vinaigrette (depending on availability), as well as some newly crafted dishes. Her goal is to connect diners to the land and sea while celebrating all the efforts taken to get the food to the table by highlighting the seasons bounty of locally available produce and proteins and utilizing sustainably caught seafood.

Fresh organic ingredients are just within feet of where dinner will be served. The outdoor kitchen and dining space offers a scenic view of the California hills and native oak trees. Our hand built greenhouse where all the magic begins and loving farm animals are all nearby for you to experience and explore.

Terra Amico Farms started out as an organic family owned farm focusing on the diverse varieties of heirloom tomatoes. Our dream has been to provide the community with organic, wholesome vegetables and to educate our family, friends and neighbors about where their food comes from. Over the past four years we have grown to be the local hub for heirloom tomatoes. With over 1,500 tomato plants, hundreds of zucchini, artichokes surrounding the landscape, and fresh basil around every corner, we have so much to offer. . We can’t wait to share our farm, fields, and food with you!

Diane Sturla grew up in Gilroy, cooking has always been a part of Chef Diane’s life. With over 15 years of culinary experience, she has been professionally trained and worked alongside award winning culinary professionals who have helped shape her style and knowledge. A huge fan of Alice Waters, she developed a passion for “farm to table” and sustainable cooking early on and incorporates those values into her menus to this day.

She takes what is seasonal and local and designs a menu that is unique and representative of the area in which we are lucky enough to call home. She visits Farmers Markets, local artisans, farmers, and ranchers as often as she can to learn about the ingredients selected for the menus. She takes pride in taking simple ingredients that are in the peak of their season and enhancing their natural flavors using minimal ingredients.

More Details:

Dinner is held on a farm, so dress appropriately. The wind picks up in the afternoons so bringing a jacket is advised. Shoes have a tendency to get a little dusty so we recommend leaving the stilettos at home.

Pricing:

$150 per person for this 5-course dinner with a variety of wines to sample from Lion Ranch Vineyards. Our tables seat 12 and we serve family style. We encorage you to fill a table with your family and friends. Singles, couples and smaller groups are also welcome and will enjoy meeting new friends on the farm.
